The Patriots should be forced to play 4 home games in Indianapolis and 4 home games in Green Bay. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds interesting.

WTF!!!

Thank-you for the clarification.

There were 24 balls for each team, non kicking, 24, 12 for each team are kept in the refs locker room, this being an inclement weather game. 12 for each team were used during the game, the balls were rotated constantly dur to the very wet conditions, so you post is wrong right off the bat. The rain was a minor factor relative to the temp differential due to ideal gas law.

Did you even watch the game?

BTW what happens when a needle is inserted into the bladder to measure the pressure, air escapes, what does that do to the pressure inside the ball?

It lowers the psi.....

Even the outfit hired by Wells conceded that the conditions account for the psi of the Pats balls, the real question is why the Colts balls did deflate more, if they were at 13 psi...... Pe were they overinflated since they were going to file the complaint?

http://regressing.deadspin.com/why-those-statistics-about-the-patriots-fumbles-are-mos-1681805710/+kylenw

In any case something like half the fumbles by players when they are on other teams is from including a particular players punt returns (which use NFL controlled special kicking balls) as fumbles by a WR. the effect goes away when that’s corrected. ( 56 Touches per fumble goes to 107... vs the Pats 105)

The 5 year period of low fumbles...Is also a substantially cherry-picked mishmash illusion, which appears to have more to do,with the plays they run than anything else.

Would have replied earlier but actually I just got home from a Semi-pro football game tonight.

It is kind of delicious to see discomfort for not just Brady but the rest of The Evil Empire like Coach Palpitine and the Ring-giver in the owner box but this whole thing is just nonsense.

Yeah, it was balls a couple of tenths too low that kept the Indy defence from being able to tackle Blount. Oh but wait a minute, they did hold him under 200 yards and 5 touchdowns so maybe they did OK after all.

Those dirty low PSI numbers must be why Andrew Luck has zero TDs and 9 Ints against New England.

NE is playing the AFC South and the NFC East this year and since I pull for Houston and Dallas I would like to see Brady gone for the whole season but really doubt that is going to happen.

If Brady loses $$$$$$$ in the millions with a suspension then Goodell is gonna be like a heap of hamburger to a pack of starving Rottweiler lawyers.

It fits well with Rogers implication that the refs would pump the balls up extra hard because he liked them that way.

What? Rogers didn't say that. He said he'd pump them up and see if the refs let them pass not that the refs pumped them up.

Agreed. Did outfielders tell umpires when they trapped a catch? Did receivers tell referees when they trapped a catch? Do lineman tell the refs when they are chop blocking or holding? Do batters object to a strike being called a ball? Do basketball players object when a charge is called blocking or visa versa? Games with umpire/referees are saying those people determine what is right or wrong. If a pitcher in baseball should receive from the umpire a ball that was slit in a location in which he could take advantage would he be remiss in telling the umpire? Referees handle the ball after every play. Where were they? I’m a Chiefs not a Patriot fan.

Awww...

What was the psi of each ball in question?

What was the chain of possession of each of the balls?

You’re still crying about “spygate”?

The Dolts played like they were the second string at IUPUI - girls team....
