McConnell Carries Reid Leadership Legacy
Conservative Review ^ | 5-7-2015 | Daniel Horowitz

Here is the uncomfortable question every Republican senator must ask: at what point is it more of a liability than an asset to have Mitch McConnell serving as Majority Leader instead of Harry Reid?

At what point do you bench the player who grounds out into a double play every time he comes to the plate?

He [McConnell] has now decided to shut off all debate and join Democrats in blocking Senator Rubio’s (R-FL) amendment, which would have forced Iran to recognize Israel’s right to exist.

As we’ve noted, McConnell is not only committed to passing bills supported by Democrats, he is trying to shield Democrats from taking any tough votes. But should it really come as a surprise when the average Senate Republican leadership Liberty Score™ stands at 57% (F)?

However, with this Iran bill he has taken this degree of accommodation for Democrats to a new level. He has now decided to shut off all debate and join Democrats in blocking Senator Rubio’s (R-FL) amendment, which would have forced Iran to recognize Israel’s right to exist.

Sometimes you need to support Caesar against the Senate. Problem is Caesar is the Senate and the Senate is Caesar.

I’m not sure of that, only because I’m not sure of he was ever on “our” side (conservatives). Is it too fruit-loopy to consider that some of these RINOs may be sleeper cell type infiltrators, who now feel safe to come out into the open? The left has found that to be a very successful tactic with other entities, including, as of not-so-recently, the military and the nominal Christian church, which up until not-so-recently were considered bastions of conservatism, and the opponents of the left. We’ve seen that they took over academia and the MSM that way, long ago. They couldn’t defeat th military as a staunchly conservative organisation in a full-frontal assault, so they infiltrated with first women (who are more likely to be leftist), then sodomites. They usurped the Christian brand name, and they’re in the process of doing the same with the “evangelical”label.

So he might not be a traitor of he was never really on the side of conservatives. Look what the socalled “conservatives” did to a true conservative in Mississippi. Look at that deviant Jenner calling himself a “conservative”.

The question every conservative needs to ask is if the Republicans constantly obstruct and block conservatives and conservative ideals then why should they support Republicans? The Republican party as a vehicle to advance conservatism is dead. It's time to let them die or join their true ideological home the Democratic party.

I expected Mitch to be bad but even I didn’t expect it to be this bad.

I am now convinced that the uniparty has realized the American public is waking up and they have a short window of opportunity to usher in the NWO global government. Hence the Iran nuke deal, the fast track trade agreement, the protection of Barky’s amnesty, attempting to re-authorize the Patriot Act without reform and on and on.

IMO this Jade Helm thing has rattled more people than the corruptocrats dreamed of.

A year ago I would have never considered it, but it’s time to join the conservative part and leave the republicans behind. They did NOTHING good when they had the house, senate and presidency under Bush and raised the debt a zillion times, and TEN years later they are at it again. I’ve HAD IT.

It’s like the old buzzard Reid never gave up the chair.

Although he is not as inflammatory and obnoxious, I don’t see that in his governing McConnell is any different from Harry Reid.

McCONnell Is worse than Reid ever was. McCON is a slobbering fool who loves Obama. “Working with Obama is like an out of body experience.”

What kind of opposition is that?

McChinless is every bit the problem as the Demmunists.
Is he spineless as well as chinless, or actually a Dem in Rino clothing?
Same for Boner.

For all intents and purposes, Harry Reid is still the Majority Leader.
