Rush used to call him sleazer of the house Fort Worthless Jim Wright.
I listened to his resignation speech. “Tell you what, let old Wright resign and I’ll go on home.” Of course they let him instead of sending him to Leavenworth.
To: fhayek
The Slimes? I’m surprised they didnt blame Newt for his death.

Fort Worthless Jim?
Man that takes me back to Jr. High in 91, listening to Rush for the first time.
To: fhayek
Never could get past those eyebrows. Reminded me of a devil.
To: fhayek
When Fort Worthless Jim Wright checked out, he didn’t leave a vacancy.

some congressmen go to DC to do good.
some congressmen go to DC to do well.
Wright went to DC to do well.
people forget that the democRAT party was infested with grifters long before the Clintons drove a U-Haul up from Arkansas.
Jim Wright was not in DC to serve anyone’s interests but his own.

Richly, with ridiculous display
The politician’s corpse was laid away
While his acquaintances sneered and slanged
I wept for I longed to see him hanged.
