A North Carolina store owner is fighting to recover more than $100,000 from the IRS.
The feds reportedly seized Lyndon McLellans life savings under a banking law designed to stop drug dealers and money laundering. The IRS accused McLellan of structuring repeatedly depositing money in increments just under $10,000.
The IRS had said it would no longer target deposits unless the money was involved in a separate illegal activity. McLellan, who owns L&M Convenience Mart in Fairmont, hasnt been charged with anything, yet he hasnt gotten his money back.
It took 13 years to get it and less than 13 seconds I guess to take it away, he said of the money. It was taken from us, but it wasnt handed to us.
Ainsley Earhardt sounded off on the situation today on Outnumbered.
We dont go after Bill and Hillary Clinton for taking millions of dollars from foreign governments, but were gonna go after a mom-and-pop organization or small business that sells catfish sandwiches in North Carolina? she questioned.

He shouldn’t have sctructered his money, the guilty drug dealing thug...
Oh wait you mean he wasn’t dealing drugs or doing anything amiss???
But was his money breaking the law?
I’ll bet it was his money that was guilty!!!!
How do we execute a 100 dollar bill again?
It's the greatest threat to freedom today.
The Fedz need to remember the Murrah Building when they steal somebody’s money. One of these folks is going to fail to see the humor.
I get a paycheck twice a month that is less than 10,000 per paycheck... they gonna seize my account....
I better shut the hell up now...
“More outright government theft... “
His case was featured in congressional hearings last Feb.
The commissioner said he was not aware of these type of seizures and that if it happened, it was against established guidelines.
In March, the commissioner issued new guideline to seize accounts ONLY if the interested party was suspected of dealing in illegal activities.
All the aplhabet agencies need to go. Nsa, batfe, epa, doj, fbi, dea, all that crap gone.
Rebuild and not allow anyone currently there to serve again, ever.
The Mafia only took a percentage. The IRS should be forced to pay interest and a penalty for confiscating money from those not charge with any crime. Where are the chicken Republicans? This is an issue that 95% of the citizens of this country would support.

This only applies to cash transactions.
Additionally, as a person, you do not have to report unless the transaction was part of your trade or business.
It is a warped mind which thinks that way and equally warped minds which inspire that type of thinking.
Unfortunately, the IRS employs a lot of warped minds.
Bingo.
What we need are juries in every single IRS case to employ nullification.
“Where are the chicken Republicans?”
Hearings already held.
IRS Commissioner already issued new guidelines.
Better to do your homework before calling names.

It is still wrong for them to demand that information without an actual case by case warrant or subpeana...
Don’t care if tyou think I am wrong for feeling this way but because we have slowly compromised is precisely WHY we live in a crummy “soft-police state” today.
Yeah, I agree and have stated so as well.
Totally dismantle EVERY federal agency and allow them to rebuild over 8-10 years under the strict supervision of Congress,
and disallow any former fed employee from working there again.
That’s referred to as Grand Larceny in some jurisdictions..
Many small businesses have requirements in their insurance policies to keep minimal cash on hand. i.e., if they have 10K on hand, they are not insured for it if they are robbed, or destroyed through fire/earthquakes etc. The feds are stealing these people’s money and basically destroying their businesses because our government has gone feral.
well, you can’t expect them to let him keep that much money! He might use it to mount an effective defense against the IRS!
Someone’s gonna “go Bowman”.
