Update
Not only did the homeowner have a firearm, but so did the next door neighbor.
I have a buddy who recently retired that lives in that area. One afternoon, I came to visit for the first time and saw a gigantic moose head over the front door. A corner of his den was just filled with deer/elk horns, and rifles were all over his walls.
I’d say he’s got no worries.
There’s an infection in Boulder. LOL...
