Haha. I agree with you. I have said for years, that it is entirely possible that the path we are taking scientifically could be a rabbit hole that inhibits true progress to actually determine that the SOL is not the upper limit. Here is another mind blowing thought to ponder relative to what we know and can measure. The speed of sound is dependent upon the density of a given medium that can transmit vibrations. Sound behaves differently across differing mediums as well. They are waves just like light. How fast does sound travel through a nuetron star core? At some infinately dense medium, can the speed of sound approach the speed of light?
