You have to give New York an “A” for effort in the race to see which state has the most thoroughly corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle. When it came to both Democrats and Republicans being thoroughly corrupt, self-interested, money-grubbing leaches, Illinois was in the lead, but with this, I think New York may be ahead by a nose.

Illinois was in the lead, but with this, I think New York may be ahead by a nose.

With 4 of our last 7 Governors having gone to jail, I would say Illinois has already crossed the finish line in first while everyone else is still racing for 2nd place.
