BRITISH ELECTION COUNTDOWN: THE RECORD OF THE 'CONSERVATIVE' PRIME MINISTER

Back in the 1970's I remember watching actor Michael Caine explain that he was 'a socialist' but British taxes were just too high for upper income people like himself.

In 2010 Caine was supporting the "New Tory" Conservative Party of David Cameron, a less rigid party ready to spend money on the welfare state.

Now five years later Cameron's record leading a coalition government with the Liberal Democrat Party includes these highlights.

1. Doubling the country's national debt

2. Cutting police and fire budgets five to ten percent

3. Cutting defense spending leaving the RAF defending the Falkland Islands with four planes, among other things.

4. Gay Marriage.

5. Coming to Washington earlier this year where Cameron lobbied US Senators to support Barack Obama's nuclear deal with Iran.

6. Keeping foreign aid sacrosanct in an age of austerity maintaining it at current levels

And the list goes on. Journalist Peter Hitchens has written a whole book about the real David Cameron called "The Cameron Delusion" and made extensive blog posts in recent days detailing the non-conservatism that has taken over the Conservative Party since Margaret Thatcher was deposed by the pro-European Union elitists in 1990.

The rules and regulations of the EU have had a painful effect on the British economy with the biggest threat being the unrestricted immigration the EU imposes on the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdon Independence Party of Nigel Farage has zeroed in on the immigration issue and its economic and security implications for the UK.

In a speech at the EU Parliament last week, Farage warned that allowing massive numbers of migrants from North Africa into Europe, enabling them to enter the UK would provide a pathway for Islamic State terrorists to come in.

In a Sky News interview yesterday, Farage said UKIP will outperform its current standings in the polls (10-15 percent) on Thursday "There is also some quite considerable evidence now of what is called the 'shykipper', people who will vote UKIP but won't tell pollsters they're going to do so".

Regarding Mr. Cameron, Farage said: "People that have left David Cameron since 2010 have left him because he's covered the country in wind turbines, he's slashed our defences, he's overseen massive rises in immigration."

In Europe, a “Conservative” is basically someone who supports the monarchy. It is nothing like American Conservatism. For that matter, there is no other place on earth that espouses true American Conservatism. We are it. Which is why when the USA collapses under the weight of liberalism, the rest of the world is going down with it.

Cameron isn’t a conservative even by European standards.
