it seems outrageous to me that any Israeli police would hassle any uniformed member of the IDF , regardless of what color he/she is . IDF is the rock of the Jewish State . IDF soldiers should be shown utmost respect and deference.
It’s hard to fight evolutionary urges and prejudices. We are tribal people, us humans. Always have been.
Why do I feel a connection with blond haired blue eyed guys (no, I’m not gay :))? Perhaps because I am blond/blue and feel some tribal connection from long ago.
But we must fight that part of us which leads to violence against those who are different. Maybe it was needed way back when, now, not so much.
And every IDF member who is doing his or her job right deserves all of Israel’s respect.
