I heard that Al Sharpton’s ratings are microscopic. Yet he’s not on the chopping block? What the heck???
Revrunt Sharpton landed that gig through a back door sort of PAYOFF deal wif Comcast,...
Sharpton’s show was likely part of a special deal with the US Goverment to allow the merger of NBC Universal and Comcast. Firing Sharpton would bring the wrath of the Just Us Department.
watch his speech bloopers. The guy has an IQ of 22 an I cant believe he ever finished first grade lol
Republicans should show these bloopers and then have a caption “Obama’s right hand man”
they may have already decided to chop him so there was no need for him to plead for the shows survival.
Your question is obviously rhetorical...Reverend Al may have ratings that are microscopic, but his place at MSNBC is secure, thanks to his little arrangement with Comcast, which acquired NBC a few years ago.
Sharpton and his fellow “activists” could have challenged the Comcast deal, costing the cable operator millions in legal fees, while further depressing the value of its newest properties. Instead, Comcast donated at least $155,000 to Sharpton’s organization, while the good reverend went to bat for the cable company with federal regulators. And voila, Al gets a nightly platform to spew his ignorance and venom:

MSNBC could go to an “all polka music videos” format and Sharpton would still have a show.
