What would Spiro T. Agnew say? He called Senator Goodell (1926-1987), the father of the NFL commissioner for those New Yorkers who have forgotten him, the “Christine Jorgenson of the Republican Party.” Some didn’t understand, but Agnew meant Goddell, Rockefeller’s appointee to succed RFK, was so far left he might as well have been a Democrat. Agnew endorsed a Goodell rival, James Buckley, who won the general election of 1970. Senator Goodell never tried to become a woman. Jorgenson was a man who underwent experimental sex-change surgery c. 1952.
Senator Goodell (R-NY) was a wimp to the point that he was targeted by the KGB for exploitation. They didn’t have to bother. He followed their “pacifism” line right down to the red hook and sinker.
On his office door at the SOB (Senate Office Building) it said, “STUPID IS IN”.
