Carson has supported the idea of everyone carrying their medical records encoded in a microchip under their skin, and he wants the government to give every citizen 2000 dollars to start their health savings account.

He has stated that he doesn’t really want to run but God wants him to and he is needed. He is not George Washington, the reluctant hero.
He is a good man, but the comment that men “go into prison straight and come out gay” shows he is woefully unprepared for the spotlight.

Nope.

This is horrible. He is a wonderful man.

He has no place in politics.

SO I say that we start election Season with everyone in the GOP automatically running and you have to actually opt out. Would result in fewer candidates.

I can’t support him. He may be a good man but he’s not a conservative.

Do we really need 15 candidates running?

I don’t think so.

Another guy who will never get my vote. He couldn’t lead an angry cat our of a paper sack. He also has no bedrock of principle guiding him.

RINO Rick Perry! Dude you are running out of days. Better act now or you will run out of days.

One a week, only about 20 spots left.

While I fully respect Mr. Carson and think he is a good man with great values, I don’t feel he’s presidential material.

I’m all in for Ted Cruz, so if he picks Mr. Carson for VP...then it’s a win-win. Otherwise, Mr. Carson would best be suited as HHS (should that department be held open, which IMO shouldn’t be). Surgeon General would be a good pick for him too. IMO

Well, he has that black pop appeal. Maybe he can grab some of Jeb’s votes.

I like and admire Dr. Carson, but he’s not ready. Maybe he will be next time, but he’s just too green when it comes to cutthroat politics. Maybe a cabinet post in a Republican administration will give him the right experience and induce him to change his opinions on things.

Secretary of HHS would work. Or he could fill the Surgeon General position. These are jobs where he should be able to excel.

Maybe you can go fromn zero to the House of Representatives, but not to the presidency, even if you are a famed neurosurgeon.

He seems to be the only one who truly gets the harm being inflicted by the homosexual agenda. I won’t vote for anyone who isn’t crystal clear on this issue and doesn’t think it’s worth fighting for.

I like Ben a lot. I don’t think he is ready to run for President. If he was a dem it wouldn’t matter. But the media will tear him apart. A shame because his story should be an example for ALL youth.

Give it time folks...those praising Ted Cruz now will disown him before the primaries are over. One thing I’ve learned, if a candidate isn’t perfect on every last position, they will be disowned...even by those who once praised them.

And no, I’m no Ben Carson fan, just pointing out that even Ted Cruz will do something, say something, believe something that some on this very forum disagree with, and BAM...his saint status will disappear in the blink of an eye. Don’t doubt it for a second. We’ll destroy each and every last candidate we have...no matter how Conservative they are TODAY.

There’s an open Senate seat in MD next year. Why the Hell doesn’t he run for it?

Correct me if I’m wrong — hard to keep track of who is officially in and who just talks about it — but as far as “Old, White Men” go, all we have so far is Bernie Sanders.
