Looking presidential, George P. reports on first 100 days in office

George P. Bush stood in front of the lectern with its official seal. Behind him, flags bracketed the picture of a majestic white building. For just under 10 minutes, Bush talked about all that he had accomplished in the whirlwind of his first 100 days in office.

Bush is in his first term as Texas land commissioner, the seal on the podium is that of the General Land Office, and the building depicted behind him is the mid-19th Century General Land Office building that now serves as the Capitol Visitors Center.

But looking at Wednesday’s tableau, you could be forgiven for thinking that what you were watching was some kind of future projection for Bush, the grandson of the 41st president of the United States, nephew of the 43rd president, and son of a man who it appears wants to be the 45th.

-snip-

The initial audience for Bush’s remarks was relatively small. There was no live audience or reporters in attendance when he delivered the speech at his office near the Capitol.

When he needs a new “do” bad enough Christoff will do his air on the runway when he goes to California to make the late night talk shows.

I can’t for the life of me understand why Texans voted for this guy.

It will probably be George P. vs. Julian Castro for governor or president at some point. Gag to both of them.

George P has the same ‘deer in the headlights’ look as his father.

"George, there are two things you need to do:

1. Study up on liberty. Embrace conservatism.
2. Change your name"

May I add:

3. Get a face transplant....or get a personal professional photographer.

George P. Bush is just another corporatist from a family of sellouts.
