“because LA is RACESS”....Al Sharpton May 3.. 2015
No damage but were there any improvements? And, not only is la racis’, they’re responsible for the glow bull discombobulation that triggered the erf quake to begin with. At least locally.
I knew it!
As soon as California considered allowing fracing they’re getting earthquakes. Stop fracing now, before L A falls into the ocean.

Frack away I say...
I felt this one too! We had one about the same a few days ago.
One reason that I am glad we no longer live in California.
Another shaker in the Inglewood-Newport fault zone after a 3.4 on April 30.
Woke me up. Went right back to sleep.
Maybe precursor to bigger one?
All depends on your comfort zone, I would rather live with the earthquakes I have grown up with than the thumb of God coming down out of the sky to squish me like a bug, or a hurricane, or a blizzard or a Mt. St. Helen.
Well it is up from the 3.4 just a few miles away on April 30th.
Today Sunday, 3rd of May of 2015, the sun rose in Los Angeles at 6:01 am and sunset will be at 7:38 pm. The moon set at 5:54 am at 256º southwest. Eventually, the moon will rise again in the southeast (106º) at 7:27 pm.
In the high tide and low tide chart, we can see that the first low tide was at 3:48 am and the next low tide will be at 3:18 pm. The first high tide will be at 9:57 am and the next high tide at 9:31 pm.
The lunar phase is a Waxing Gibbous. Today we have 13 hours and 37 minutes of sun. The solar transit is at 12:50 pm and the length of time the moon will be visible will be 10 hours and 27 minutes.
We lived pretty close (maybe 7 miles) to the Northridge epicenter and had lots of damage to our home and our psyches. At least with the other natural disasters, you usually have a fair amount of warning. After Northridge, every time we had a tremor in the night, my heart would race and it would take a while to calm enough to go back to sleep. I DO NOT miss the earthquakes.
Hey in that situation I fully understand and would probably re think my current opinion, I myself had great trepidation driving under overpasses after Northridge. Glad you all made through that safe.
That quake had my pool water sloshing in GILA BEND, AZ!
I figured most of Cali was gone. That was a tumbler.
I think its too shallow for that — but who knows?
just all the oil lubing the faults
Fracking!!!
