He is correct on all counts. I now believe now that they rather have an acquittal than a conviction. With an acquittal, they can fan the flames of the mob’s emotion to a white hot intensity. A conviction would tend to moderate things.
The charges might be way out of line causing far more criminals an opportunity to vote Democrat and to do more criminal acts.

I wasn’t upset at the charges, other than that the cops aren’t getting paid....the charges were inane at best and a “c” law school grad would win this case in a matter of moments.The officer charged with the most serious violation was DRIVING THE VAN!!!!Accusers say that he drove the van in such a manner that the unrestrained prisoner was subjected to violent tossing about in the back of the van.First of all, if you lay down on the floor against any wall in the van...you won’t be tossed around at all....and that would be the natural reflex.....If these cops are ruled not guilty, I assume that they will receive back pay and reinstatement to their positions.

Resignation is a bit much to expect...these are people with jobs and principle only feeds you for so long....A strong case of "blue flu" would certainly be in order,and it might be worse in some areas than in others..If the prosecutor thinks that these six will turn on one another, she is in for a rude awakening. I think that she overcharged them to such an extent that convictions will be impossible...and I think that they and their counsels know it.
