McConnell’s Perfidy: Israel Under the Bus

Perfidy. Betrayal.

The degree of outright treachery on behalf of the Republican-controlled U.S. Senate — this time throwing Israel under the bus to please President Obama’s desire not to offend Iran — raises the obvious question.

What was the point of electing a GOP Senate? Can someone please remind?

Coming on the heels of the realization that the Senate Republicans were terrified to even oppose the nomination of Loretta Lynch to be attorney general - with McConnell himself, along with nine other Republicans - actually supporting her nomination? Which in turn followed the refusal of Senate Republicans to defund the Obama executive order on amnesty? And the earlier, 2013, refusal to stop funding Obamacare?

Again: What was the point of electing a GOP Senate?

This latest sell-out revolves around an attempt by Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) to do exactly what they promised to do: amend the bill co-sponsored by Republican Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) and Democrat Ben Cardin (R-MD) that would allow Senate review of a nuclear deal with Iran. Senator Rubio, who had earlier promised and then backed away from a plan to introduce an amendment to the bill in committee that demanded Iran recognize Israel has now joined with Cotton to have the Israel amendment voted on the Senate floor.

The response from Senator McConnell? He will move to cut off debate — thus short –circuiting the amendment procedure. Why? While the Rubio/Cotton move would be merely symbolic because of the procedure they are using to offer it — in fact President Obama wants nothing attached to this bill that would even come close to ruffling the feathers of the Iranian mullahs.

MONEY. That’s always the reason. If we could just hack into McConnells’s finances, we’d have all the answers we need.

A group of us were discussing this very same question, only we were wondering why the Mossad had not taken out obama and it's white trash VP.

The best answer was, "look at the chain of next to be President" Speaker of the house, majority leader of the senate and then cabinet members.

So the mossad sits by and wrings their hands.

“The best answer was, “look at the chain of next to be President” Speaker of the house, majority leader of the senate and then cabinet members.”

Just a correction. The majority leader of the senate is not in the line of presidential succession. The President Pro Tempore of the senate is.

The purpose of this is so that the presidency passes to a representative of the people (that is, the existing heads of the two legislative bodies) before passing to the heads of the executive departments (who are confirmed by the representatives of the people in the Senate)

What was the point of electing a GOP Senate?

To stop a democrat led senate from screwing us and destroying the country.

And it worked.

Now we have a republican led senate screwing us and destroying the country.

I'll bet there are lots of illegal maids cleaning up after her, and walking their dog and picking up the poop for her.

The thing is, we need reporters of some kind to observe the corrupt Republicans. How hard would it be to find out if Boehner has a house full of illegal servants?

We don't need the Mossad to take out pols. Pols are just puppets of the billionaires.

Why doesn't the Mossad take out the oligarchy?

‘Mossad’, like most of the Israeli government bureaucracy, is mostly made up of Leftists.

Israelis are, and should be, skeptical that the GOP is just trying to use Israel as a mere partisan issue.

For some reason, the globalists see the continued existence of Israel — as an obstacle to their planned world government.

Why is that?

McConnell is NO conservative. He is one of the sleaziest campaigners out there and he delights in being in ‘the halls of power’. There is no point in electing GOP candidates if they are of this type

The term Glenn Beck used to describe these REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT is becoming more and more accurate. He called them “SPINELESS WHORES”, and that terminology seems to fit them to a “T”. Not a day goes by, when we don’t see how and why the act this way. It’s the “MONEY”. We have another 18 months to do something about this. If, after the next election, these republicans are still in the leadership position, then, I’ll be calling for a “THIRD PARTY”. We need to rid ourselves of these “COUNTRY CLUB” republicans, one way or another. Don’t really care whether they change their party affiliation and become what they really are; “DEMOCRAT LITE”

We pile on McConnell, and it is fully deserved, he is a vindictive, lying POS. But there are 54 Republicans in the Senate. Where are they? If there were 53 opposed to his actions, he would not take them. The fact is, the Republicans are thankful McConnell is taking the heat for them. They don’t want to be put in a position where they have to stand up to Obama, or throw Israel under the bus. There is plenty of blame to go around in Washington.

there was abosolutely nO point in electing a Republican congress, alas.
all these R’s do is enable and facilitate Obama’s IslamoNazi agenda and takeover or ‘transformation’ or weakening and subersion of USA

the R’s appear to settle for a slightly smaller slice of the bribe money, but there’s so much of it coming in from Saudi Arabia, Soros, Qatar, and other enemy sources... that the R’s still are fat and happy and rich

indeed, just about the only WashDC politican today that has NOT sold America out to our enemies may be (hold your seat!)..... VP Biden.....

go figure... ha!
