One thing I can say with certainty is that there isn't a shred if evidence linking Christie to this idiocy. As soon as the story hit the news, Christie called an unscripted press conference, denied any involvement, and took questions from the media for quite a while.

I'm not a huge fan of Christie, but I'm sure he's smart enough that he never would have done this if there was a chance in hell that any evidence existed, linking him to the incident.
