NEW CHIEF: Justice Patience Roggensack has been elected by her peers as the new chief justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, ending Justice Shirley Abrahamsons 19-year hold on the chiefs position. Roggensack said she will begin repairing damage that has been done to the reputation of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
There was an article earlier this week in the Journal Sentinel that detailed how Abrahamson was trying to hold on to her power.
