Arm Bands are common now, for safety reasons. About a decade ago during a similar type training event[Robin Sage]. The military[SF school] got involved with the local police force. Several guys got shot and injured because the military thought the police were part of the drill and the police thought they were bad guys.
These Hitler arm band references make me wanna puke. I don't know when FReepers got their common sense taken away.

Why don’t they just come out and say “we are going to OCCUPY your state for 2 long months and pretty much do as we please. Deal with it. A police state is a safe state” At least that would be honest.
