That headline should give the Marxist/socialist/progressive democRATs an aneurysm.

Not a black person visible among them . Not one that I could see . What does that tell you ?

That it is a target-rich environment for the feral yoots that burned Baltimore last night?

Buy a gun. Save for a U-Haul... Baltimore is lost.

I'd say that pretty much sums it up right there. BTT

Bears repeating:

The difference between 1950 and 2010 is probably the number of employed taxpayers who moved to the suburbs.

That tells me that there are still a lot of “white” people in denial. Escape while you can.

Notice the big drop from the ‘70 to the ‘80.

That represents THE Riots.

Not to mention the inestimable damage to everything in the world that the ‘60s did.

Interesting, since it was right outside the Meyerhoff, in the heart of the city.

To quote HuffingtonPuffington:

“While the Baltimore Orioles gear up to play for an empty stadium — the first closed-door game in MLB history — the players of the BSO will step outside to perform.”

So the Orioles, further away from the epicenter, let zero people INside their stadium, but the BSO plays OUTside in the heart of the city.

Very weird. MLB are cowards.

And again, it says black people are not interested in this kind of thing.

The difference between 1950 and 2010 is probably the number of employed taxpayers who moved to the suburbs.

And the difference from 1990 to 2000 is probably the result of an audit of the voting rolls to remove the registered dead.

I had friends who bought homes in Palmdale and Lancaster, CA. ( An hour out of LA>) I couldn’t figure out why blacks were out there? My friends bought in the exurbs and commuted in for work because they didn’t want to raise their families in the San Fernando Valley. Why did the black on welfare from Soouth Central move way out there?

There's a train called the MetroLink that connects downtown LA to Palmdale.

The good liberals of the West Side of LA have been stonewalling a subway from downtown to the West Side for decades.

The folks in Palmdale didn't put up a big enough fight.

Is that is what happened and how they got “railroaded” there. Beware large government subsidized transportation. In this case, it was a way to seed the exurbs with poverty to get more range out of the distribution of wealth.

Too bad, desert communities are usually home to hard-scrabble folk, who are equipped to rough it. It did not make my friends happy to see the “blight” follow them.

A friend of mine was one of the lucky ones real-estate-wise in Palmdale.

When I was a kid we would go shooting on the outskirts of Palmdale. It was that far out in the boonies.

Then there was a big uptick as the defense companies in Palmdale like the Lockheed Skunkworks and Northrop started hiring lots of people including my friend.

I believe he bought a nice-sized house with a decent yard for just $70k.

Then the defense business went bust. My friend had already sold out and moved back to LA county. Palmdale real estate prices collapsed.

I don't know if just a few families from downtown moved out there and then told everyone else: Come on up! The houses are cheap and the air is cleaner!

The city just north of Palmdale is called Lancaster. Some people call it Klancaster claiming that the white trash that was eking out an existence in Palmdale (now Palmton) headed north in order to segregate themselves from the newcomers.

I love the desert as a place to visit. I don't understand why people would actually want to live out there full time.
