Former Florida governor Jeb Bush and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz will both be making overtures to Hispanic voters Wednesday, speaking to national groups on issues that could increase their appeal within the rapidly growing voting bloc in the 2016 election.
What they will discuss -- and how they will discuss it -- could provide a preview for the different way in which the two candidates will reach out to Hispanics once the primary season is properly underway.

The Q&A between Ted Cruz and the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be underway soon at The National Press Club in Washington DC today (3:30-4:30pm ET). Be on the lookout for video. It should be interesting. I will NOT trust press accounts of what is said in the meeting.
As I have said many times, if all these Mexicans would come to the U.S.A. and vote Republican (NOT RINO!) I would personally place a welcome-mat on the Rio Grande.
I live in an 85% Mexican neighborhood here in Texas. Most of the men and many of the women get up in the morning and go to work (many have more than one job), the housewives who don’t work outside the house watch the children and there are many people selling tamales, knife sharpening, ice cream, roasted corn and many other things. Most everyone goes to Mass or Sunday Church services and Vacation Bible School is huge.
On the other hand, Albuquerque has a serious crime problem.
Ping!
Cruz?
