WASHINGTON, April 27, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following release is being issued by the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce:
WHO: Ted Cruz, United States Senator, Presidential Candidate and Javier Palomarez, President & CEO, USHCC.
WHAT: In the first of a series of planned sessions with 2016 presidential Candidates, Senator Ted Cruz has agreed to sit down with Javier Palomarez, President & CEO of the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), to discuss his candidacy, and how he will address issues that are important to America's 3.2 million Hispanic businesses, the community at large, and every day American citizens.
WHERE: National Press Club (Holeman Room)
WHY: This event comes on the heels of a few stories about presidential hopefuls missing out on the opportunity to engage USHCC members - conservative Hispanic business owners, voters, taxpayers, and campaign funders -- at the association's Legislative Summit a few weeks ago.
This Q&A session is meant to give all candidates the opportunity set the record straight on their views on issues that concern Hispanic Americans, including social issues, immigration, jobs & the economy, healthcare, national security and terrorism, federal budget spending.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792 |

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams |
|
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |
