Welcome to the party (of destruction), W...it only took you 7 years.

At least Cheney’s been giving it to 0bie, since almost day one.

You got that right:

Now that his brother is running for president, he finds his voice criticizing Obama’s foreign policy.

“Not a Bushie by any stretch but how is it “public” if he made the comments at a “closed door” gathering?”

Exactly.

He defended his own administration’s handling of terrorism, noting that the terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who confessed to killing Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, was captured on his watch: “Just remember the guy who slit Danny Pearl’s throat is in Gitmo, and now they’re doing it on TV.”

KSM is in Gitmo, on vacation and will be released before Obama’s term is up, so he can go back to work...Murdering.

KSM is a serial killer and should never breathe free air...

It’s public because he typically speaks with the understanding that his remarks are to be private.

Here, he informs on his thoughts and gave permission for them to be released.

for sure, if his brother doesn’t ascend, he wants the next guy to understand what the problem is, who to blame and get a clue about fixing it...

Bush is diplomatic and has shown restraint, as most presidents do. He must really be upset at this point to speak so frankly.

Bingo!

Exactly my thought.

"Putin's domestic popularity comes from his control of Russian media, according to Bush. "Hell, I'd be popular, too, if I owned NBC news," he said."

Best GWB quote ever. I think NBC news is Russian media,

BUSH GAVE US OBMAM.

Tell yourself one falsehood to make you feel better/smarter and there is no end to what you might tell yourself while ignoring reality. Add some feel-good drugs and you be in heaven...

BTW - who or what is "OBMAM"?

True, but he was simply honoring the tradition of not criticizing the current president. In that regard, I do not blame him

I blame him plenty.

Had he cared more for America than Africa he wouldn't have used that BS excuse, rallying opponents along the way.

Seriously: Who here actually believes that the 2012 election would have been different had he rallied Republicans against the Puppet?

In my view, Bush delivered us the Puppet for another 4 years. THAT is his legacy and it eclipses everything else.

It is long past time for Republicans to quit fighting by Marquis of Queensbury rules, while our opponents use the nastiest street fighting techniques, tradition be damned. There are plenty of examples of Carter and Slick Willie criticizing Dubya and his actions during his Presidency.

If I could laugh about it I'd be ROFLMFAO.

It's NOT funny.

Bush delivered us the Puppet for another 4 years. We're about to get Lynch, too, and whatever else he sees fit to lay waste to in this country for the next 20 months.

Upset; wow. Perhaps you forgot your sarc tag...

That’s a very Alinsky response to a fellow FReeper.

Cheerio is spot-on. Oh, and, btw...the rest of us are smart enough to read through a typo.

Well, at least those of us not blindly & emotionally defending a former president sitting idly by & just watching while the country is destroyed from within.

‘Complicit’ comes to mind...
