Inn hosting terrorist’s clan hit with cancellations, complaints
Boston Herald ^ | April 25, 2015 | O'Ryan Johnson, Owen Boss

Hosting the relatives of convicted terrorist Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is proving to be very bad for business, the manager of the Hampton Inn in Revere is finding out as complaints and cancellations pour in.

When asked how many people had called to drop their reservations since news broke that six of Tsarnaev’s relatives are staying at the Route 1A hotel while they wait to testify in his blockbuster death penalty trial, general manager Cathy Cucchiello simply said, “Enough.”

A half-dozen TV news satellite trucks lined the sidewalk outside the hotel and reporters and cameramen were bunched in a group near the exit, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Tsarnaev clan. The Boston Marathon bomber’s family members were whisked to the hotel in vans Thursday from nearby Logan International Airport.

Cucchiello banned the media from the hotel and its grounds and repeatedly asked the press to stay off the grass and on the sidewalk.

There was a heavy security presence at the hotel all day and into the night. A man who identified himself as a Boston police officer and said he was part of a federal task force was stationed inside the lobby, approaching those who looked out of place and asking them if they were guests. Other men in suits with walkie-talkies prowled the common areas of the hotel, too.

Many hotel guests appeared confused at all the attention, stopping to ask reporters what was going on and honking their horns at the media throng as they drove away. Motioning to the helicopters overhead, one woman driving away with a dachshund in her lap said it was all too much.

“With the helicopters and all that, it’s very scary,” she said.

Revere police Chief Joseph Cafarelli told the Herald the relatives would be staying at the hotel “for the duration.”

“You know it’s going to turn into some sort of high-profile event,” Cafarelli said. “Am I comfortable with it? God only gives you what you can handle.”

The penalty phase of Tsarnaev’s trial in U.S. District Court in Boston is underway, with the defense preparing to call witnesses Monday in a final push to avoid the death penalty.

Revere Mayor Dan Rizzo said last night the Tsarnaevs hotel stay was something the city was “enduring.”

“I feel bad to hear that people are cancelling reservations at the hotel — so obviously that’s not good for business but some things are out of their control and in this case it’s certainly out of the city’s control,” Rizzo said. “I’m confident that this situation will come and go without incident.”

By today’s prevailing standards, shouldn’t those who cancelled be forced to do business with those whom they would rather not?

Did the Hampton solicit their business? Did they even know beforehand who they would be housing? Do they have a contract with the city to house "witnesses"?

If the answers to the above questions are no, then they do not deserve to lose business. If yes, well, then, too bad ....

You are quoting from a fictional work, although it fits.

This "woman" looks like pure evil.

Don’t give them any ideas. Although they’ll probably get to this soon enough anyway, they’ve undermined freedom of association and freedom of religion in every way they can so far.

The Hampton Inn can recoup their losses and be sold out for the foreseeable future simply by making an announcement that they support same sex marriage. What’s a greater priority in this country, anyway, gleeful gays or national security? Yep, the former.

If The Hampton didn’t know ahead of time who those scum of earth were, then it is up to the American guests to leave the Hotel if they want. For a decent American their mere presence is as for a Muslim sharing their room with pigs. The Hampton should no be boycotted after they leave.

It's a Federal trial, and they are potential defense witnesses. Since Joker is indigent (i.e., a life-long free loader) you and I are paying for the cost of his defense. The airfare for the last leg of their journey from Amsterdam was $15,000 bucks, American. Joker has already been convicted on all counts. The trial is now in the penalty phase. If the jury gets a gander at this bunch of free loading pukes, they are likely to start tearing the jury box apart to build a gallows.

Every member of that terrorist family, specially the mother witch should be on the terrorist list. The intercepted telephone calls are proof enough.
If they are, why are they even allowed into MY country?
If they are not, why not?

Why can't they be housed in the same prison environment as their killer son?

What sort of a*******s are running our government now?
