Unfortunately, it’s not about naivety, but values.
On the other hand, Gutfeld has the right attitude but is naive when it concerns his dismissal of homo-activism.
His comments and demeanor on the issue do seem to be out of synch with his position on most other issues. That leads me to suspect he is anti-gay at heart but has a close friend, a relative or co-worker on the Dark Side.
I knew someone in a position like that once - basically a conservative/traditionalist but torn between his core beliefs and loyalty to a long time, close friend who turned out to be a homo.
The give-away tell was that his position on that one issue conflicted significantly with his other social and political beliefs.
