The left doesn’t understand conservatives. I doubt there are many of us who hate homosexuals. We hate the act and the militant in your face activism, but we pray for the people that do it.

That was one of the rationales for firing the Atlanta fire chief, i.e., that his views on homosexuality prevented him from treating homosexuals fairly in the workplace, even though they provided no evidence for that claim.

I strongly oppose gay marriage, but never once in my 34 years in the workplace did I say anything against gays or harass them in any way. In fact, there was one gay guy in IT that I always recommended to people because he was about the best at identifying a problem and getting things done.
