Fire Chief Deleted a Comment on a Scott Walker Pic But Forgot One Key Thing: The Internet is Forever
This week, Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin attended a ground-breaking ceremony for Werner Electric, a company that will bring nearly 100 jobs to the Badger states Grand Chute area.
Walker commemorated the event with a Facebook post:
Groundbreaking for 250,000 sq. ft. building at Werner Electric in Grand Chute. Expansion will create 97 new jobs.
Many comments in response to the post were positive:....
.....But not everyone was pleased:
.....Perhaps the most intense criticism, however, came from another of Wisconsins public officials.
The Wisconsin Daily Independent reports that Amherst Fire Chief Victor Voss left a comment (since deleted), which actually encouraged violence against the Governor:

Although said to be a joke, Voss has previously expressed his displeasure with Walker on Facebook:

"But what can you expect from a guy like this?"

Public threat of physical violence against Gov. Walker. I expect the local D.A. to swat team Voss’s house and place him under arrest. Oh, forgot, they don’t do that to Democrats. If Voss were a Republican and made the threat against Walker’s august predecessor, Diamond Jim Doyle, I’d expect a swift arrest (and firing from his job).
Gaydar just pegged!

Fire the Chief.
Ah, Portage County, location of the People’s Republic of Stevens Point (Lil’ Madison).
"The official start date to collect the signatures needed to recall Gov. Scott Walker occured at 12:01 a.m. today, Nov. 15, 2011. I just returned from picking up petitions at the west side field office. The parking lot was full and cars lined both sides of the street as I pulled up. There was a line of folks of all ages snaking down the hallway; everyone ready to go out tomorrow and get signatures. The atmosphere was festive and serious at the same time kind of like the protests last winter. We're making history all over Wisconsin tonight!
I've been through the training on how to properly collect signatures and will be out and about doing that this morning as soon as it's light. If you are worried about GOP dirty tricks, go to one of the many recall field offices around the state to sign a petition. And remember, you must sign an actual paper petition; this cannot be done online.
To all my Madison friends, give me a call if you want to sign a petition and don't know where to find one. We'll set up a time and place to do the deed."....
Snow fairy. LOL!
JoeProBono had that covered back in 2011.
But reportedly, the snow fairy dates from 2007.
"CHICAGO - Wisconsin prosecutors on Tuesday tried to persuade a federal appeals court to let them to resume their investigation of Gov. Scott Walker's recall election campaign, in a case that touches on broader issues about just what constitutes constitutionally-protected political activity.
In more than 90 minutes of questioning, three judges on a panel at the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago didn't give a clear indication of which way they might be leaning. But two of the three repeatedly broached questions about whether federal judges should intervene in what appeared to be a state matter.
When it comes to federal courts dictating to states about criminal investigations or anything else, Judge Frank Easterbook said, what precedent demands is, "Be modest. Be careful."....
No one has been charged in the investigation and prosecutors have said Walker isn't a target. Republicans have dismissed it as a partisan witch hunt against conservative groups, while Democrats say it has revealed serious questions about possible illegal activity by Walker and his backers.
The case centers on the type of political activity done by the conservative groups during the recall campaign and whether that work required them to follow state laws that bar coordination with candidates, require disclosure of political donations and place limits on what can be collected.
Much of Tuesday's arguments focused on the intricacies of Wisconsin's criminal system...... .....Easterbrook, who was appointed by Republican President Ronald Reagan, and Judge Diane Wood named to the bench by Democrat Bill Clinton both sounded skeptical about whether a federal court was justified in telling a state how to conduct criminal inquiries.
"I don't understand why a federal court at this micro-level should be brought in," Wood said.
Prosecutors, who opened the investigation in 2012, want the appeals court to reverse a preliminary decision halting the investigation in May and dismiss the federal civil rights lawsuit filed by the conservative Wisconsin Club for Growth and its director, Eric O'Keefe.
Wood said she was "troubled" about encouraging the notion that anyone unhappy about a state investigation targeting them can simply "come running across the street to a federal court" and ask a U.S. judge to stop it.
A lawyer for the conservative groups said his clients had little other recourse but to seek federal court intervention. He argued that prosecutors were trampling on rights protected by U.S. Constitution.
"The issue is our clients' right ... to be free of retaliation (for expressing) his First Amendment rights," said attorney Mark DeLaquil.
In a court filing, prosecutors decried the lower-court ruling halting their investigation, saying it gave too much weight to the interests of well-funded, politically minded groups and not enough to the public interest......."

That slob is refereeing HOCKEY GAMES?
I couldn’t keep up with the play in bantam at the best of my ability. Granted I am 30 lbs overweight.
Unless he is reffing pee-wee or lower games, he’s just a drag on the game.
Why am I not surprized?
This Victor guy is applauded by the left for promoting violence and ad hominem attacks.
This Victor clown promotes violence...and this is ignored by 99% of media.
Omar Khayyam figured this out as millennium ago. Too bad dumb liberals haven't learned it today.
Looked it up - there’s a Wendy Voss, same address as Victor, that signed the Walker Recall Petition.
