Not sure...so much going on.
Biggest concern is how to protect from the herons. Still recovering from the shock, lol.
Netting would be so ungainly.

Haven’t seen a heron since I put in the disco ball but that may be anecdotal. I did invest in an air rifle though.

I have a look in a few times each day, and they’re more active when it’s sunny and warm. I wonder if new feathers itch when they’re coming in for the first time? Like a baby’s new teeth hurting? Heh.
