SWAT will be tired, disgusted, sued a lot and hated a lot.
I hope these idiots keep pulling this.
There are legitimate reasons to have SWAT teams, but there are too many of them and they have WAY too much fancy gear to put peoples’ eyes out with.
Too many SWAT teams, too much gear.
I hope they’re called out night after night after night and can’t show their faces around town.
Let it be known If you are responsible for swatting and caught it is attempted 1st degree murder charges no pleas auto jail time.
Deputy Chief Scott Meyers says it can be time consuming and very difficult to trace, but not impossible. He says detectives are doing everything they can to find the suspect.

They need to devote much time and energy to finding the perp. Once they find and punish a few jerks like this, the swatting trend should abate.
Mandatory 10-year prison term + 1st degree murder charges if the victim is killed should pretty much end this phenom.
The fix for this is to have false accuser thrown in prison for a minimum of 5 years, since he placed so many lives at risk.
Why have we heard nothing of the prosecution of the 911 callers in these cases?
SWAT raids have exploded, and as apparently, some police departments, especially those egged on by the totalitarians, are itching to try out their new toys. The “see something say something” East German Stasi society promoted by the Feds doesn’t help. Nor does racial, ethnic, class and political polarization promoted by 0bama and the DOJ help either.
That being said, when/if CW 2 starts, this tactic will become commonplace. In fact, the Jade Helm martial law drill makes this sort of stuff more likely.
Either sentences are not severe enough for such false allegations, or police are helpless to do anything about the perpetrators.
I hope they find the sorry bottom feeder and raid their sty with a SWAT team.
What sort of ignorant, half assed, Barney Fife numbskulls would base a dynamic entry operation on an anonymous call? Did a judge sign off on this?
In the saner world I grew up in, an anonymous tip would be responded to by dispatching a patrol car with a couple of officers who would knock on the door and find out if there was really a problem.

did they knock on their door?
what’s their name?
where are they?
have charges been filed?
if none of the above... this sounds more like a false flag event staged by those trying to push the police state
The cops love it. They get to dress up and play soldier, get overtime, and shoot a few dogs or old men defending their property. Liberals love it because they can have hired goons perpetrate the violence they are too cowardly to commit themselves.
I don’t think SWAT teams should be used without the written authorization of an elected official.
Anyone who pulls a stunt like this should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It should be a major felony, carrying a 5-year sentence at least.
