Looks like the carrier group was intended to prevent the Arab coalition from attacking the Persians and preventing their resupply effort. Probably part of the settlement reached with Iran.

It sure would and looks very suspicious. A little while ago, Fox Business reported that Saudi Arabia was resuming bombing raids, so the situation is confusing to say the least.

So the timing appears to be US carrier group arrives. The Saud’s stop air war. Iranian ships dock. Saud’s restart air war. We must have placed a temporary no fly zone over Yemen to allow safe passage for Persians. Obama did say they were there to protect shipping.
