The TPPA would give President Obama the authority to negotiate with Viet Nam, Mexico, Brunei, Malaysia, Peru, Chile and Japan to allow those foreign nations to set US Immigration law. Congress would still have to approve the deal, but it could not be amended or filibustered, so whatever he offers would be virtually certain to pass.

No sensible person is going to be anti-trade. I have no problem with a Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement SO LONG AS WE ARE REPRESENTED ADEQUATELY AT THE NEGOTIATION TABLE. I have zero interest in just becoming another casulty oF legacy building, but done right a good trade agreement could be a huge positive.
