My father back in NJ was horrified by the photo I sent him last month of the local, Warren County, PA way of dealing with coyotes.

They grow on trees?
That does it! I’m cutting down all trees on my property!

Those coyote are huge. Nearly as big as a wolf! Out here in AZ we generally see the smaller kind. Probably don’t get the full diet the ones in PA get.

As a teenager a friends kitten died but before anyone could check it out they threw it out. Then everyone who had contact with it had to get the rabbies shots in the belly for 10 days (maybe 2 weeks).

Years later I get a call from the friend who was going through the 12 steps in AA. He was working on the step that tells the truth to those he wronged and let me know the cat died of something else but didn’t want to say anything at the time. I didn’t need to get all those shots. I forgave him and moved on. After all; it was so long ago that it was ancient history.

But, those looks like wolves, not coyotes. Coyotes are a lot smaller. Am I wrong?
