We see coyotes on a regular basis on our golf courses here in Tucson. I have never heard of one attacking a person. Little dogs on the other hand, if unaccompanied, are definitely coyote kibble.
At 9pm at night, they normally attack in packs. Strange for it to have been a solitary coyote.
