As I recall Michelle Bachman and several other Congressmen made an issue of that during the 2012 campaign. They were unable to confirm any security clearance for Huma, nor the existence of the necessary form (126?) which would have included data on her friends, memberships (MSA) and relatives. Moot after Hillary left office, I suppose. In the future, I think we’ll be surprised about who had access, permission or hacked, to Hillary’s server.
"Bachmann, from Minnesota, and the four other representatives sent letters to top intelligence and security officials last week warning that the Muslim Brotherhood, a global religious Islamic movement whose members have been linked to terrorist groups in the past, may have infiltrated the top levels of U.S. government."
"Bachmann's letter said, "Huma Abedin has three family members her late father, her mother and her brother-conected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives or organizations."
" The letter continued to insinuate that those connections have led the State Department to act favorably toward the "Muslim Brotherhood and its interests."
She received scathing treatment from the MSM, her own party, McCain, Huffpo - all the usual suspects made her sound like McCarthy squared and all she did was send a letter of concern.
History will show Michele Bachmann was prescient in her concerns. We'll see if the American people realize these concerns in time.
