A source tells WCCO that FBI agents arrested at least six people in Minneapolis and San Diego for suspicion of trying to join ISIS. Authorities say efforts of a joint terrorism task force led to the arrests.
The six people taken into custody may be connected to the on-going investigation of Twin Cities residents traveling to Syria to support ISIS over the last year, according to the source.
U.S. Attorney’s Office in Minnesota and the FBI are holding a news conference Monday morning to provide more details.

Remember the story last week about an ISIS training camp just over the border. That’s just a decoy. The reality is ISIS trainees and sympathizers are already here and will strike at any time. What does a pond in a park and America of today have in common? They’re both filled with sitting ducks.

The first thing I thought of were all the recent supposed “drownings” in the Great Lakes area, as well as another drowning in Palm Desert. All young men, early 20’s, attended family/friends event, left event alone, disappeared, found in a body of water.
Was this group of arrested youth the “gang” that perpetrated the killings in order to be accepted in ISIS ..??
Fortunately, because of the severe winter, the killings suddenly stopped. But now, I am wondering if the killings stopped because that mission was over - they had killed enough to be accepted by ISIS ..??
