Sorry, that is a weak excuse to do nothing and just 'go with the flow'.

There may be some short term pain but the relief on the state coffers would be enormous (I live in SoCal).

State tax could be abolished (I know, I'm reaching here)

I drove in SoCal the day the illegals stayed home to prove they were necessary and the world would end ... WOW ... the freeways were useful for the entire day. I bet less than a third of the gas was used since you could actually just drive to where you were going without the gridlock.

Send them home now. Put those who hire them in jail. Remove their ability to have a business. (Sorry, anger speaking here)

We are at war and the enemy is among us and we put our fingers in our ears and roll our eyes to the sky and sing lalalalalala. Sickening.

We seem to be in agreement. See comment number 40. The man I asked to come up with a better idea so far has had better things to do. Time will tell if he groks what you have.

That will be when he finally stops insisting (even to those who have always voted) that all they simply need to do is do the exact same thing some more.
