It doesn’t really matter who has the children. It matters what values they have when they grow up. Schools and the culture accomplish much of what leftists want.
Just remember this:
“When you are 20 and is not a liberal you have no heart. When you are 40 and you are not a conservative, you have no brain.”
This is why we need to teach our kids values and the reasons for those values. All of my kids went to excellent public schools, where the emphasis was on education instead of liberal indoctrination. All of them came out as conservatives with decent values, completely unharmed and to some extent strengthened by their low-level exposure to the amoral perspective of America's enemies.
I think that at least some component of being conservative is genetic. I was raised in a liberal family and was steeped in liberalism at school, but since I think things through and try to understand the fundamental issues rather than the sound bites, I became more and more conservative.
As an example, a woman who has a strong maternal instinct is unlikely to be swayed to accept the premise that she has a right to kill her own babies, regardless of the barrage of propaganda trying to convince her otherwise. And since having abortions damages the reproductive organs, women who abort are less likely to carry future children to term, and there is a small chance they won’t be able to get pregnant again at all. Psychologically, many women who abort have successfully suppressed their maternal instincts to the point where they will never even try to have living children.
OTOH, women who use available means to avoid pregnancy don’t damage themselves and do maintain their fertility.
The replacement rate to maintain a steady population is 2 and a fraction children per woman. So conservative women can have 3 or 4 children (if they want, but kids are expensive) and make up for the kids the liberals aren’t having.
Exactly. Conservative parents do not necessarily rear conservative children. Fortunately, neither do liberal parents necessarily rear liberal offspring.
