Plenty of liberal divorced and single moms here in Maryland.
Maryland seemly has a high % of single women to single men but most are liberal as well as non-white or fat+white with gov jobs.

My most recent experience at the maternity hospital (grandson) was that:
Most children being born are future Democrat voters.
Most births are being paid for by current Republican voters.
These conclusions based on info from a nurse who is life-long friend of my daughter.
