Jeb Bush says he doesn’t want a “coronation,” and New Hampshire voters are making sure he gets his wish.
Facing an audience of skeptical activists at a pivotal GOP gathering, the former Florida governor tried to assure voters he’s a real conservative in a somewhat rocky return to the campaign trail here.
“My record’s a conservative record,” Bush said in response to a question at a nationally watched gathering of GOP activists attended by nearly all of the party’s presidential hopefuls. “It’s not a Republican-in-name-only record. ... It’s an ‘I’m not kidding’ conservative one.”
Bush had just finished his stump speech at a packed Crowne Plaza ballroom, when Lisa Mediano confronted him on the “RINO” question that’s dogging Bush among conservative voters.
Mediano told Bush she didn’t want a “coronation” like Hillary Clinton is getting from Democrats, prompting Bush to quip, “I don’t see any coronation coming my way.”
No chance of that happening in New Hampshire, where voters have a long tradition of giving front-runners a hard time. It’s a tradition that Bush’s brother, President George W. Bush, and father, President George H.W. Bush, know all too well. Both struggled in the first-in-the-nation primary, and Jeb is now getting a dose of the Granite State treatment.
“I’m sick of dynasties,” Mediano said in an interview after Bush posed for a few photos and made a quick exit from the First in the Nation Republican Leadership Summit. “I’m sick and tired of mushy, wishy-washy conservatives.”

I think Jeb is the walking politically dead and just doesn’t know it yet. He will have to squirm like a worm every inch of the road from here to the primaries.
He has nothing to worry about from me! Hillary, however, is all but demanding one. She ain't getting one, either!

If it's Bush-Clinton, you get a 3rd party candidate from our side, and Hillary easily wins. And doesn't have to spend a nickle on media advertising. The media wouldn't like that.
Oh but Jeb said he wasn’t going to kowtow to conservativesduring the primaries, like it or not. Welllllllll that don’t seem to be the plan anymore....
Jeb is clearly way past his “best used by” date. The fact that he is the darling of the GOPe gives much credence to the idea that they are not interested in winning.

I think he just lied, he wants to win, that’s american, if he doesn’t want to win, then why is he in the race?
He obviously doesn’t have any heart felt principles, seems he only has political convenience and feelings.
It's what he says and did thereafter which makes him politically dead to me.
If Bush is nominated, I'm staying home. I'm not even going to support down-ticket Republicans because Bush will depress turnout on that end.
If Hillary wins, so be it.
