“... in favor of someone they can unite around”

I can’t imagine who that someone might be.

"I can’t imagine who that someone might be."

Could it be, Satan?

I need a picture of the Dana Carvey's Preacher Lady character to make this post complete.

“I can’t imagine who that someone might be.”

Sanders, Warren, Jean Claude Keree, are all more charismatic. Sanders has an Alinsky tongue that can fascinate listeners.

That’s because you are a sane person ;’)

Look at what they’ve done the last two election cycles. They unceremoniously kicked her to the curb once before when Øbongo took the stage. He was (and is) a big nothing but they rallied around him and pushed him into the highest office on the planet - twice.

Øbongo hasn’t done one single constructive thing in all the years he’s been in office - but they don’t care. As a party obsessed with style over substance he epitomizes their perception (delusion?!) of presidential demeanor.

When they look at him they don’t see the man who alienates our allies and panders to our enemies. They just see the man who refuses to negotiate with ReThuglicans. That’s all that they care about.

I guarantee that they will find (dredge up?!) another Øbongo just in time to take on whatever pubbie we have left after the GOPe destroys Cruz or Walker.

They will eventually unite against her behind O’Malley. Don’t know if that will beat her, but my bet is on him to challenge.
