Rafael Cruz has told crowds that “political correctness is a cancer and it’s killing us," that children are “being brainwashed in the public schools with…immorality,” and, earlier this month, that, “if we have someone like Hillary Clinton elected in 2016, you might as well kiss this country goodbye.”

And what exactly is incorrect about what he said? He's dead-on right.

Sometimes speaking truth to the existing powers that are carefully controlling the message is dashing oneself upon the rocks, no matter how necessary that truth must be.

There is a widening chasm in the territory that was once known as “the United States of America”, and it may prove hopeless to try to bridge it.

Senator Ted Cruz does not have a “daddy issue”, the liberal media does. In their scramble to protect the status quo, the “liberal” institution of cradle-to-grave security, they have become the helicopter parents, hovering over every instant of the growth and development of the young, to the degree that not much if any growth and development ever take place. Thus we have immature college graduates, all the way through post-doctorate level, who have never been exposed to what it is to be American, and are totally naive about almost every aspect of the land of their nativity.
