What's not to like? I like Ted Cruz but this is the first time I heard he has libertarian leanings. Every libertarian I have ever met, listened to on the radio, seen on television, and read about, you do not have to scratch hard to find out it always comes down to two things - drugs and prostitution.

Legalize every drug there is.

Let prostitutes roam freely without hassle.

I have yet to find one that is that worried about the national debt, abuse and abandonment of the Constitution, Fed Gov over-reach, etc. If the find out that you do not support the legalization of drugs and prostitution, they do not want to support you. No 80% people with them.

You have a very narrow range of associates, then. I am a small 'l' libertarian that believes States hold the power on drugs and on prostitution in accordance with their 10th Amendment Police powers. The feds should not be involved.

I also believe that abortion is murder.

I think you are confusing the Libertarian Party with libertarian beliefs.

They are two very different things.

It’s pretty obvious to most of us that he has libertarian leanings. Just like Ronald Reagan and, say, Thomas Sowell have libertarian leanings. An appreciation for individual liberty is one of the main things that separates conservatives from liberals and other leftists.
