The worse kept secret in North Carolina’s Second Congressional District is finally out there for all to see: Chatham County’s Jim Duncan is coming after John Boehner and Kevin McCarthy’s favorite member of the North Carolina congressional delegation. Here’s what the retired entrepreneur and former county GOP chairman had to say today:

“I’m entering this race because I want to serve the will of the people. It’s time to listen to their needs, protect their freedoms and unite this district.I don’t need a new job. I want to offer up my talents so that I can serve my friends and neighbors in this district and inject some common sense into that mess in Washington.

The GOP primary will be held in May 2016.

Didn’t take her long to flip to the insider side in DC.

I also think Frank Roche has announced another run. He had a decent campaign last time around on a shoestring budget and is excellent on immigration issues.

It’s a bit of a hard sell to say that running the County GOP Head against a decent GOP incumbent is somehow “fighting the establishment” ?

It gives the appearance that the what we are really seeing is a County GOP Head who is looking to upgrade his own GOP position?

I’ll look this fella over, but I’m currently ok with Ellmers.

Really? Ellmers may be the worst in the nation in betrayal. Definitely the single biggest disappointment among House “Tea Party” candidates. She’s a toddy for the Boehner bunch.

If you’re OK with Elmers you haven’t been paying attention.
Unless you like being represented by a cheap labor importer.

Which gives Freepers two options where observations where you are concerned:

1. You are ignorant of Ellmers record.
2. You are OK with the invasion of the Illegal Aliens, which, if true, begs the question, why are you posting on FreeRepublic??
