A federal appeals court panel assigned to consider whether to temporarily lift a block on President Barack Obama's latest round of immigration-related executive actions leans Republican, 2-1, and contains a sharply conservative judge who drew national attention for clashing with the administration over Obama's health care reform law.

The panel is set to hear two hours of oral argument Friday morning in New Orleans on the issue of whether to stay a district court judge's injunction from February blocking Obama's efforts to offer deferred deportation and work permits to millions more undocumented immigrants.
The same three judges are unlikely to make the ultimate decision on the legal merits of the lower court judge's ruling. Instead, the current panel is assigned to wrestle with the immediate question of whether the injunction should remain in effect while an expedited appeal goes forward.
Either issue or both could ultimately wind up before the U.S. Supreme Court.

.it’s my opinion that they most likely will exercise their option to decline to do anything and send it back to Judge Hanen for trial...............

Contempt of court sanctions for lawyers from Hanen and maybe bench warrants for arrest if the Obama underlings keep on insisting.
The lights are on at night over at the NSA as they dig deep into all of these judge’s past phone calls, emails, purchases via their banking websites, etc..
I will be satisfied to have this delayed until the zero is out of office, and Ted Cruz has taken over.

Yeah but they aren’t the ones that would hear any appeal from the Dist. Ct. They are just hearing the interim appeal on whether or not to lift the Stay as the trial goes forward. Add to that the fact that we’ve seen how some “GOP” Judges are willing to rule and, well ... big deal.
Or is it a setup, a “conservative” judge compromised like Roberts to make a favorable ruling look legit.

Yeah, if you haven't noticed, we lose 100% of the time. Every time I think something might break in the people's favor a miraculous turn of events makes it yet another Democrat win. Yeah, I'm getting a little paranoid.

I’ve seen cuffs put on a lawyer for contempt of court. It is not unusual in Texas. Meaning Texas judges, for the most part, just won’t abide lawyers mis-behaving.
I think Judge Hanen would send a powerful message to Obama,Jarrett and Holder if he jailed all their lawyers for contempt even if just OVERNIGHT!
Since they work for Holder, imagine Federal Marshalls slapping the cuffs on him and walking his sorry behind out the front door. (And a LONG WAY down the street) of the DOJ in DC. News Networks would explode!
