I hear ya, but if this story played out as it has been described, then the whole “anonymity” thing should probably go out the window ... because of the very strong likelihood that the people at the AA meeting are potential corroborating witnesses to a crime.

Sorry, the other people at the meeting would only be witnesses to the fact that a person they LATER learned to be Larry Reid made certain statements during a meeting. The only thing they could corroborate would be a confession by Larry.

I suspect that in the absence of a complaint from Harry Reid, there is not much law enforcement can or should do.
