While I appreciate all that he has done for military, churches, etc., I have a difficult time accepting anyone’s claims that they are Christian when they support Obama.
Obama claims to be Christian.
Clinton claims to be Christian.
Uh-huh Denzel, if that’s the case then why did you support one of the Bible’s biggest enemies for President? Twice?

And FReepers buy this hook, line, and sinker as if just “talking about the Bible” makes him “Christian”.

I think the libs want to look at the Old Testament God and his vengeful wrath. But He is long suffering. Look at how long He suffered the idol worship brought into Judea by one of Solomon’s wives before He had the Hebrews taken away into bondage.
He is very patient, but His patience doesn’t last forever. And I believe it is wearing thin.
Too many Hollywood people seem to be liberal, and want to just lecture us about global warming or homosexuality. It’s nice to hear someone in Hollywood say something inspiring and uplifting, and not just pushing the liberal cause of the day.
I have always liked Denzel Washington. Not only is he an awesome actor, but he has always had class.
Do you know what is the movie in which he first appeared?
"Death Wish." He's on screen for about one second. He plays one of the hoodlums that Charles Bronson shoots. It was uncredited.
I’ve become a big fan of Mr Washington. His work is oftentimes a morality play - edgy without being “preachy”.

I should have added that in the above movies he handles (promotes) the Bible with reverence.

Hmmm. Have we seen the last dlDenzel Washington movie? Proclaiming belief in the bible is the kiss of death in Gomorrah on the pacific. I hope not.
