Sounds like she went in unannounced with the idea that someone would recognize her and everyone would make a big deal over her being there.
It would then be reported that she is so well known and loved she can’t go anywhere without adoring crowds gathering around her.
Truth is nobody knew who she was and paid her no attention.
From know on any adoring crowd greeting her are staged.

Reminds me (seen long ago, wish I could remember where) of the end of some movie about a king’s fall from power, raging from a wheelchair as his subjects just quietly wander off to other obligations, no longer consenting to his governance. Her power diffusing, I likewise imagine her screaming outrage in a conference room as staffers quietly excuse themselves from her presence and voters politely ignore her ballot listing.

I agree with you guys; I smell something staged. Nothing happens off script, and the SS doesn’t allow a candidate to go into a public place without checking it out first. No way the staff “didn’t know.” And the patrons had to have been checked out, to the extent there were any.
