We are not underestimating how dangerous Rubio would be as President.
His total dedication to amnesty takes him out of the picture in every state but his home. He will go nowhere nationally.

100% agreement on Jeb and Rubio!
We have to bury them as fast as we can so no money is wasted on them.

If some president would just enforce the law, there would be no grounds for the “round up 11 million and deport them all” nonsense. When illegal employment became very difficult, many would self-deport and normal deportations could be resumed whenever an illegal encountered law enforcement and the illegal status was discovered. Gradually, the illegal population would be decreased significantly.

I know, I know, but how embarrassing for me. Sometimes, I wonder how I read at all. This “maturing” thing, as it turns out, isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, you know. :)

Any site claiming either of the Pauls are more conservative than Reagan or Cruz has a serious misunderstanding of how to rate conservatives.
Just my observation.

The fracturing will occur because of other candidates beyond the three of Jeb, Cruz, and Walker. I believe in a three way race Jeb will be last. No one really wants him other than the most suicidal GOPe idiots, the Bush dynasty, and Hillary.
Unfortunately every candidate other than Christie takes from Cruz or Walker and allows Jeb an inroad he wouldn’t normally have. Rubio, Perry, Santorum, huckaphony, Jindal, Carson all fracture the conservative vote. Jeb is not a good candidate. He is relying on $$$ and a fractured 2conservative vote, and I believe Rubio is the one that needs to be taken out early. Santorum and huckaphony need to be shamed next, and hopefully Perry will self immolate.
Agh, so many candidates, most of them better than last time.
That will be more difficult than most here believe, IMHO.

This maturing thing, as it turns out, isnt all its cracked up to be, you know. :) Tell me about it! Until I've had two cups of coffee in the morning, I can't be trusted to tie my own shoes .. LOL
You ought to see the looks my wife gives me when I forget something she told me a week ago. Sheeesh, that's like ancient history to me! I've told her that I refuse to be held responsible for any data that's more than 72 hours old .. Ha!

So here we go headed into another primary season, and were poised to do the same thing all over again. And if we do it, Jeb Bush will wind up our nominee as certainly as McCain did and Romney did. Yup!

That's funny, I've been connected for more years than I can remember, I've never heard of them, and there isn't much I don't know about.
Once again, any site that considers either of the Pauls to the right of Reagan and Cruz are suspect.
And yes, you too are an anonymous poster, or perhaps a shill for these frauds. At least unintentionally.

FWIW, this anonymous poster has never heard of that site either.
So there.

It make one reasonably wonder if these remote contenders are paid, or promised the moon, to enter the field and shatter cohesion? Not really, but close.
I mean now really is of course the time for the free election process to show itself of, under the mantle that, “anyone can be president in America”.
But the polls will move many contenders out over time, and lack of Big Money will move some more out, after that. Then, when we get down to surgery, if you get my drift, it will be time to coalesce and finish off our favorites for the leading conservative against Bush. Hope it isn’t too painful and that we will be able to pull the trigger.

What is wrenching for deciders is the feeling of throwing their hearts throb over board in order to be pragmatic and coldly controlled to do the deed. So, of the conservatives who are funded at all (and that is another subject) who will it be that can win outside of our choir and take the general election voters him?
I'm doing playing pagmatic politics. Either a guy is qualified or he isn't.
George Bush the second is all the proof you need to know electing a moderate Republican gains us nothing in the roll-back of Leftist government run amok.
Either we're going to roll it back, or it just doesn't matter. We wind up at the same place.
Best to pull the band-aide off and get it over with.

The biggest problem we had in 2012 was we had no good candidate. Palin did not run. Santorum was one dimensional. Cain was a fling. Newt was his usual bipolar self, sometimes great, ofttimes bizarre. Perry self destructed. Romney won.
I cannot fall in behind someone who could publicly be used by John McCain the way Palin was willing to. Being a "fire in the belly" Conservative would prevent a person from doing that. Sometimes it only takes one thing to let you know what someone is really all about. That was the one thing for Palin, at least to me. She walked on that stage at a Tea Party event and said McCain was one of them. She allowed her endorsement of him to be played over the air for a period of months to defeat his primary challenger in 2010. At no time did her concience rise to the occasion, and put an end to it. I wasn't a big fan of her before that, but that sealed her fate with me.
Santorum more than anything for me, was too timid. I thought he had some good dynamics, but he wasn't forceful. Cain was a big mistake, his not ours. Newt is done. He has destroyed his credibility with me. Perry deciding that girls would be forced to get that vaccine, "THE END!" Romney? Gag me.
This time we have two very good conservative candidates, and we have yet to see who will catch fire. Picking one now, before they debate and make their case should not be done.
We have one very good Conservative, and one great pretender. The pretender couldn't quite grasp if illegal aliens were a big enough threat to deport them until recently. If a guy is that shallow, he's not my guy. If sovereignty issues don't strike you as important enough to get your head clear on it for years on end, you don't qualify for my support.
Folks, a canididate can get it right on one issue. I will appreciate it. In their own market, I'll support them to a point. I won't back them to be in charge of our nation if their head isn't any clearer than Walker's had been on the most important issue of our time. A nation without borders is not a nation.
Jeb is not a good candidate, hes not going to overshadow both of our conservatives. I think we can wait until New Hampshire to make this decision. It will require a concerted effort on all of our parts, an agreement beforehand that we go with the one who is winning and polling best. Obviously, if Jeb is vanquished and the other two are neck and neck, we need the flexibility to let them go through Florida.
Yep, waiting until New Hampshire has sure worked magic for us in past ellections. Might just as well wait until California if that's your mind-set.
What is important is we agree on this site, as much as is possible, to get behind one candidate to avoid Jeb.
What is important, is that by the end of the year, we be honest with ourselves and back the guy who has an answer ready on all topics, and can spit it out in front of a reporter. I know one guy like that right now. ONE!
I prefer Cruz, will put forth the case for him, but will get behind Walker if he catches fire.
I will not get behind another one trick pony. Put Walker up if you like. He'll be recognized for what he is and Conservatives will stay home again..
lets keep this dialog going, this is important for us to wade through this with sanity before it gets hot and heavy.
We know who and what the people are right now. Waiting for people to develop a "MAD LOVE" for guys like Walker at this point, just esures they will be unable to back the right guy next year.
I'll have none of the half-way measures this year.

On your issue with being pragmatic— I was speaking of only conservatives, but didn’t do a very good job of making that clear.
I was trying to say if one conservative appears to have the votes, that it is hard to be pragmatic and cut loose your favorite conservative heart throb in favor of that leading conservative. That is what did not happen very well last time and the estab won.
