New York State has a program called "Start up New York". This program features a ten year tax break for companies that move to New York. They have spent millions of dollars pushing this program around the country. (I apologize, I do not know exactly how many millions). Last year, the program brought 76 jobs to the state. No, not 76,000, 76!. You cannot make this stuff up.

About as successful as one I read about in Michigan years ago. Flint spent Millions on an ad campaign called "Flint! Catch our Spark!"

It was a complete failure.

West Houston is overcrowded too & building like crazy. I can barely get in & out of my neighborhood for the parked vehicles of the construction workers. Property tax valuations are off the chain. I have to wonder if the price of oil stays where it is if we will have “see-through skyscrapers” again like back in the 80s...

If it goes much longer I figure we will see through again. These projects cant be spending their own money and starting new buildings at a time like this.

Shale and all the tools it takes to support that arent coming back soon. Every week that passes I hear of another layoff or deep cost cutting command.

Yeah, that is the revisionist tactics of the left. Mold history to make the point.
