I see that page goes back to March 4, 2005. I have read (but can’t find now) that the guy being tortured was one of their own. IOWs an Argentinian soldier being hazed by his comrades. Hard to source if the pic is really from the ‘80s.
I have that picture and posted the url to it a couple of months ago and had several replies saying it wasn’t Stevens. Yesterday I saw it being posted and spread on Facebook so I took the picture to TinEye and looked through a number of links which show that it had been posted years ago.
One of them said it was the CIA, wish I hadn’t posted that in my first post - but supposedly it happened so many years ago that the name of the person can’t be verified. Doesn’t matter because it’s positive that it isn’t Ambassador Stevens as he was killed in 2012.
